Hunting with Dirk de Bod Safaris was a magnificent experience.  This was my first hunt outside the US and Dirk made the process easy and understandable.  From our first email communication to our first meeting at the airport, Dirk made the process seamless and it felt like we were friends from the start.  

Dirk is a true professional and master of his craft.  His knowledge of wild game, wildlife of Africa, and everything Namibia was excellent, there didn’t seem to be any piece of his environment that he did not know intimately.  He knows animals and trophies and provided me and my family with excellent trophy opportunities as well as amazing wildlife viewing.  He knew exactly what to do to provide the opportunities we had dreamed about.

Dirk, his family, and staff all worked hard to make our trip memorable.  The lodging was clean, perfect and comfortable.  Dirk and his staff went out of their way to accommodate my daughter and moved in an extra bed so we all shared a room.  Sometimes its the little touches that make all the difference and this helped my family enjoy the trip even more.  Every meal was delicious, we were offered traditional Namibian food and meal time was an experience to be enjoyed.  Cooking braai-style created wonderful memories for our family and provided an opportunity to gather and tell stories.  

Dirk de Bod Safaris provided an outstanding experience for a first time Nambian bowhunter, they then made our trip exceptional by being family friendly and curating experiences that my wife and daughter could enjoy while I hunted.  If you are looking for a great hunt, amazing scenery, beautiful trophy quality wildlife, with a family friendly atmosphere than I could not recommend anyone more highly than Dirk de Bod Safaris.  A once in a lifetime opportunity for any hunter, young or old, to enjoy.
